The concrete tank section is used for the stocking and conditioning of koi.

6 release tanks of 24,000 liters received fish from the farms where they are quarantined and treated for parasites. After treatment they are transferred to their respective holding tanks which are 12,000 liters capacity. There are 62 such tanks which are used to stock kois A & B, Platinum & Gold Ogon, Showa Sanke mix, Kohaku, Black and selected kois. At any time 80,000 kois are in stock.

Water quality is kept at optimum condition with individual tank filtration & frequent water changes. All tanks are cleaned weekly by means of a high pressure hot water jet to rid the tanks of algae & parasites.
